About Me

Hi! I am a 37 year old wife, mom of two boys, art teacher, artist and deal getting queen. After a bit of an internal debate, I decided to go ahead and start a blog that combines all the things that I love! Here is what you can expect:

1-My Job-(which I rarely call a job) I teach 325+ K -6th Grade students art every 4 days. I challenge them with new ideas, materials, and projects every week. I am entirely in charge of my curriculum and I will let you in on just how I do that. From projects, assessments, organizational strategies, classroom management, product reviews and the funny things they say that get me us through!
2-Deal Getting- I don't go anywhere without my coupon binder deal appsor buy anything without looking for a promo code or deal! A few hours of couponing and planning each week can save your hundreds or thousands of dollars each year. You work too hard to not try it! I'll post the occasional art related deal when I find them! 
3-My Artwork- I will be promoting and sharing my ceramics and glass on this site. Whether I am working out an idea, need some folks to test some prototypes or maybe a giveaway or two, my artwork will be making some appearances. 
4-DIY- I believe that we should always be learning! I challenge myself and find DIY projects that I wouldn't normally tackle and probably should pay someone else to do but don't.  Of course, I am always inspired by Pinterest, but add my own flair to these projects.
5-NYS Art Teacher Association- As an active member, former Region chairperson, Board of Trustees  Rep and the Region 3 Art Educator of the Year  you may be seeing information for our local CNY art teachers here as well!
