We should be staying home as much as possible to help stop the spread of Covid-19. We all need food, but we have so many options without leaving your home.
**As a note, when paying for MOST of these you are subscribing for a service. You can easily cancel once your box arrives or cancel the weeks you don't want.
HOWEVER, because we are all forgetful people you may want to try this hack.

I will be getting a box from here this week. It's currently a surprise as to what will be in my box, but I have a lot of time to look up recipes so I went for it. It was about $30 shipped for the largest box they have. The produce may be a misfit-not rotten but misshapen, I'll let you know how my box goes.
Not bad for $30! get yours here and save 25% with code COOKWME-EH1QXQ at Misfits Market!
Here is my box for the week!
It looks great! Lots of hardy veggies and a little bit of fruit!
Here's what I got:
2 pounds carrots, 4 green peppers, 4 red peppers, 4 tangerines, a bunch of celery, 4 potatoes, one sweet potato, a pound + of green beans, 6 apples, 4 limes, 2 parsnips, 2 huge rutabaga, 2 bunches of collards greens, one large red cabbage.
Overall I am super pleased, the apples will need to be eaten ASAP but everything else is in great shape. Not bad for $30! get yours here and save 25% with code COOKWME-EH1QXQ at Misfits Market!
C's Market
A local beer & produce store is offering up produce boxes for $20.
These may run out at any moment, so call or check their Facebook page for updates
Check out your local produce store as well!
Meal Boxes
There are soooo many of these companies out there right now! A quick search pulls up several, but I went through and found promo codes on the following. You will get a reasonable price on your boxes! Cheaper than take out!
I have a family of four-Two Adults and a 4 and 2 year old. I like being able to try out new flavors with them, without wasting ingredients (an entire jar of a random sauce or spice that will expire before we can use it again.) I can generally stretch a meal by adding in my own frozen chicken breast, frozen shrimp, an extra potato or carrots...you get the idea. I can make a meal for two feed our family of four. If you have older children you may opt for the family style meals or more servings.
My two favorites are Blue Apron and Gobble.
Blue Apron takes a bit longer to make, and portions can be on the small side.
However, for $60 for 3 dinners, it's a affordable option each week. They do special offers as well.
I have a few boxes to give away, let me know if you want one!
Gobble is perfect for busy nights when you want a good meal fast.
I also like the generous portions of Gobble as well.
I am getting Home Chef delivered this week! I couldn't beat this deal!
Check them out! $15 for two dinners!
Vegetarian Based boxes
If you are looking for vegetarian-based boxes, you can try these.
Every delivery service offers veggie options, but if you are strict vegetarian
Wine
I find it a little comical that wine stores are still open now.
However, I haven't been in a wine store in years. I just don't have time to peruse the shelves anymore.
So I tried some online wine delivery.
My favorite by far is Wine Insiders.
It is not a subscription service!! Order when you need it. They will email you deals all the time, great bottles from $7-$10 with free shipping. AND they are fast, a few days and your case is there.
Instacart
If you still need some favorites that aren't available, you can always Instacart your groceries. This means a shopper will pick items you select from the app or website. With the current state of things, you may end up with half of what you ordered because the items you want are out of stock. Great idea any other time, not so much now. They will do porch drop off so you don't need to interact with your shopper. I love Instacart, but it's a last resort for me at this point.
Hope this helps!!
I am still on the hunt for deals so check back often for updates!
